Something is still not quite right.
[root at archive ~]# rsync rsync://download.fedora.redhat.com/
rsync: read error: Connection reset by peer (104)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(614)
[receiver=2.6.8]
Meanwhile, the same command works fine from mirror.linux.duke.edu.
[root at archive ~]# telnet download.fedora.redhat.com rsync
Trying 209.132.176.20...
Connected to download.fedora.redhat.com (209.132.176.20).
Escape character is '^]'.
Connection closed by foreign host.
[root at archive ~]#
while from the current host:
[root at newmirror ~]# telnet download.fedora.redhat.com rsync
Trying 209.132.176.20...
Connected to download.fedora.redhat.com (209.132.176.20).
Escape character is '^]'.
