A hotel room can be booked now at the conference rate. I've stayed in the hotel and off-site. Good and bad things about both methods. Definitely more "hallway track" if you stay in the hotel. Find a friend if you don't snore to share hotel and driving costs. The hotel location doesn't have any nearby food easy walking distance. The conference brings in food trucks for lunches.

SELF registration will come later with different support levels. Historically, this is a low-cost event registration for individuals (~$50). If your work is paying, it is more and there are ways to have lunch included, to have your employer pay that cost as well.

ALE doesn't run this event. This post is just FYI.

I'll try to remember to email another reminder in a month May. If you've never been, just mark the date and register the first week in May. Specific Sessions/Topics probably won't be known until 2-3 weeks before. If you want to speak to a friendly crowd, this is a good conference for that. A few ALE members have given presentations.

There are extra perks for speakers.

_______________________________________________
Ale mailing list
Ale@ale.org
https://mail.ale.org/mailman/listinfo/ale
See JOBS, ANNOUNCE and SCHOOLS lists at
http://mail.ale.org/mailman/listinfo
