<div dir="ltr">Just wanted to say thanks for all the input. I learned a lot from your feedback as well as subsequent googling. The class is complete now, and I think I've raised enough problems for one class. More importantly, I learned a lot from the class as well!<div><br></div><div>As I think about the progress of our digital consumer products, they often become increasingly abstract, less attached to physical media, etc, and therefore requiring more creative monetization (digital subscriptions, etc). And I guess this means that the consumer has to be more responsible about respecting the creator's property (or more careful about not getting caught). Anyway, times have changed a lot since I gave any of this much serious thought. Thanks for the help!</div><div><br></div><div>Dave</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Oct 9, 2022 at 2:19 PM David Jackson <<a href="mailto:deepbsd.ale@gmail.com">deepbsd.ale@gmail.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><br><div>I'm taking a class at church that is using a $15 textbook.
