<html><head></head><body>I have one of those. Works well. Make sure it has decent air space. It will get warm if all 4 ports are banging 1Gb each. Don't sit it on top of a quad opteron 1U being used for neural network training. Really, don't have it sitting directly over the heatsink of the cpu slinging a few TB of data through it and expect the internet access to stay speedy. It's been much happier hanging by its wires in the center of the room away from that monster box and other heat sources. Also a good idea to do some creative zip tie work to make it impossible to kick that barrel plug power line out while adding more ram to the above quad box.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">On February 24, 2021 7:30:54 AM EST, Raj Wurttemberg via Ale <ale@ale.org> wrote:<blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin: 0pt 0pt 0pt 0.8ex; border-left: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204); padding-left: 1ex;">
<pre class="k9mail">Yes and no. :) Yes, pfSense does use a "computer" (isn't most everything a computer these days?
