Subject: [ale] Ale hosting changing

All,

I'm relocating my hosting from internal to my house to a proper datacenter.

This will require changing the dns for ale (and quite a few other sites as well).

As things get closer to ready, hopefully the old farts that do the dns can still be kickstarted on life support, i.e. alcohol and caffeine, to make the changes in the next 2 weeks.

Comcast just doubled my bill from bad to to "OH HELL NO!". Now I have to also transition my personal internet during heavy daily usage too.

I'm getting a 4 core, 3.2 GHz Intel box with 8G RAM and dual, 2TB drives Raid1, a 1 Gb connection capped at 20 TB/m for $50/m from ServerMania in Canada.
