+1. In the old days, NM kept screwing up my networking, so purging it
right after I purge nano has been SOP around here for a long time.
Did NM get better? For wifi on laptops, I've been happy using
wicd-curses. Never saw any reason to change.

I had similar experiences in the past. NM got better. I stopped
turning it off in CentOS 7 VMs and desktops. I still turn it off on
physical boxes with InfiniBand cards. <br>
