If they can't get the movies working on international flights, be certain to call and complain after the flight.  Happened about 20 minutes into a flight to Europe. Don't remember the exact number of FFM they gave me as "compensation", but I think it was 25K, but it may have been 15K. I don't recall which. I always pre-load a few audio books so I can rest my eyes on long flight, but still be entertained enough if needed.

The only "fix" the crew can attempt is to reboot the entire system, nothing else.
