[ale] looking for recommendations on most 'red hat' like distro

I read somewhere that Fedora wants to be like Ubuntu, have a whole
install basically be snapd apps, but with flatpak. I don't get it.

Where I work I have become the primary Linux person for a lot of the
labs. I am having to learn Ubuntu. I have to take a shower every time
I am done. I did score one win. I got them to use Xubuntu, the user
love it so much more that Ubuntu/Gnome.
