[ale] Has anyone gotten MyCroft to work on Ubuntu?

A few months back I installed the snap package of Mycroft available in the
Ubuntu Software center. But everytime I try to start it it just announces
it is still configuring. Thanks to the non standard file structure of snap
packages I also cant seem to locate a log to even see what is going on.
