[ale] Outdoor Wifi - quick summary

I assume the Scout Building has electricity.

I am also confused why the Beer tent is thirty feet further away from the back wall of the building (480 ft) then the tree line (450 feet). Is the beer tent underneath the trees at the far end of the field? You might consider moving the beer tent closer.

I see two things that might be the Boy Scout Building at the back of the parking lot, but I am not sure if it is the thing with the Red Roof or the gray roof. I assume the gray roof.

Here are some other thoughts:

(1) consider providing good WiFi permanently installed in the Boy Scout building. This would involve putting CAT6 to the Boy Scout building and a nice wireless router OR having a router in the church and a WiFi extender in the Boy Scout building.

After that getting WiFi to the temporary beer tent would be a lot easier using the WiFi extender, IMHO, particularly if you moved the beer tent closer to the Boy Scout Building.

(2) If the Boy Scout building has electricity, that might be the place to put the WiFi Extender with directional antenna.

I call moving the beer tent closer to the WiFi the "Mountain and Muḥammad" solution.
