[ale] [EXTERNAL] Rant: internet for the stupid

This, and the "war on http" they are waging is extremely annoying.  I don't want my browser doing anything but rendering content.  Not their place to filter the content/make security decisions.

Seems like major browsers don't support ftp anymore. A can't enter ftp://×××.×××.×××.××× anymore. No is not that site :)  So now people need to be told what to open and what not.
