T-Mobile is where I will be needing to get it to work. Sounds like you are doing my testing for me. Ha!

Very much interested in this as well. What carrier are you going to
connect it to?

 My hopes as well.

It's about the same size and weight as my one+ 5. Built in terminal with ssh, tab completion, gnome-3.36(!?!) is gui base, wayland. Firefox is basically the desktop version with mobile extension. Doesn't scale to screen right in portrait mode until a reboot after extension install. Can't figure out how to get the keyboard to go away yet. OS based on Alpine Linux. That's pretty cool. Software app is crap for now. Use cli with sudo apk search/add

I'm wondering how much actual work I'll get done today 🤣

Woo! I will be really interested to hear about your experience with it. I'm hoping PinePhone will evolve into something that can be used as a primary phone in the not too distance future.

It arrived yesterday. Nice new toy. I got it with the nic/hdmi/usb dongle. Got some hackery to do. Sshd is started from begining. Other than a binary blob that runs the modem, it's all open source. Mini dip switches under removable back cover that control modem, wifi and bluetooth, cameras, microphone, and headphone. Removable battery and reset switch and a 6-pin accessory hacking pin collection.
Take the tape off the battery connection. It helps :-)
