Oh, one important detail I forgot to mention - the price. Would like to get $100 each for them.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [ale] Anyone need a couple of home lab servers?

If anyone is interested in a good home lab test server, or server to use as a home NAS/file server, I have two that I am looking to get rid of. They are in great shape, but I'm replacing them with something smaller and newer.

Anyway, I have two of these that are identical:
Dell PowerEdge T310. They each have one 2.4 Ghz 4 core X3430 Xeon CPU, 8GB of memory, and 4 x 500GB 7200 RPM SATA drives in the four hot swap bays. These have a PERC H200 RAID controller that will do RAID 1, 0, and 10, but will also do JBOD mode - which is nice for FreeNAS or something similar. According to the specs I found online, they will support up to a 4 TB drive in each of the drive bays. I had considered putting in 4 x 4TB drives and using one as a FreeNAS system, but never got around to doing it.
Will be glad to pre-install openSUSE Leap, CentOS, or something else for you.

If anyone is interested, please e-mail me directly. They are way to heavy to be worthwhile to ship, but I will be coming back to Atlanta soon, and we could schedule to meet up then.

Thanks.
Allen B.
