I have never attended a meeting, owing more to social anxiety (and now
distance) than any other factor. I like the idea of free old gear, but
might a "swap" create a feeling of a reciprocal obligation to bring
something to contribute? Might that not have the reverse effect, or at
least negate any benefit?
