Use one of the basic mail utilities like mutt.  Set it up to open an
IMAP folder then mark all messages and save them (marking is very fast,
you can tag messages with wildcards so tag-* will tag everything).
It'll save to mbox or maildir (whichever you choose) that you can use
elsewhere.
