I follow the Ubuntu Forums.  I wouldn't bother with 18.04 yet.  Lots of
issues around netplan, snap packages that don't work, and installation
limitations.
You can read the comments in our mailman archives or just visit the
ubuntuforums.org site and  check all the new comments around 18.04 the
last few days.  Lots of issues.
