[ale] DIY NAS vs Boxed NAS?

Odroid-XU4 was on sale for $49 yesterday.

I think an intel/AMD $50 CPU would be much better from a throughput
stance.  For for a home NAS on the cheap for a few USB3 drives, $49
isn't bad.
