[ale] Linux on AMD Ryzen CPU?

Has anyone built a Linux box with the new AMD Ryzen CPU?   I haven't built a
new PC in about five years and although my trusty Core i5 (3570K) is running
fine, I need to pass this system down to my son, who's games are demanding a
little more horse power. :)

 

These new motherboards seem to all be very Windows-centric.
