I went to Athens TN as well. A family member's customer had a nice cookout mostly for employees (~25 ppl) but we managed to get invites somehow and are very grateful. I heard the Athens city park had 20,000 people though! Wow. 


Watching the eclipse get closer through the glasses was pretty cool but totality was so amazing! Completely worth the horrific traffic on the way back to Atlanta.

I spent the day in Athens TN at a customer facility. They bought 
eclipse glasses for all employees and shut down for about an hour so 
they could all watch. 

Totality is spectacular, btw. It was 2-1/2 minutes there. 

No large animals nearby, but the cicadas went nuts.
