[ale] memory requirements

I've never been a KDE fan.  I was a Gnome guy before they decided to turn it into a Windows 8 clone.  These days, XFCE gets the job done for me - oh, and it uses a lot less memory than KDE or Gnome.

I gave up on KDE when the decided flash was more important than
function.  I couldn't figure out where the menu was.  I guess someone
from that dev team eventually went to Canonical and contributed to Unity.
