[ale] Flash drive format - kworker errors

Jeffrey:

After all the flakiness of attempted reformat as received, I've used 
GParted to change over to GPT, then let it format a single partition to 
ext4.  This took only 6 minutes.  Repeat with the other drive.

Then I copied lots of video and audio files to that partition, seeing 
the used and free space change just as expected.  With the drive 49% 
full, I was able to play back video and audio from the drive without 
incident.

Looks like GPT + ext4 is the way to go!
