Well. That was depressing. 
When you go through a zillion pages of providing your data and then get
your rankings and a zillion ads for positions open elsewhere that all
pay better.... way better.... like buy a new car every year better.....
a NICE new car every year better.....
<sigh>
academia has it's perks. the pay scale is not one of them.
