I currently have three arrays hanging off that card:

 1TB RAID1 (2x1TB, OS and homedirs)
 4.5TB RAID5 (4x1.5TB, storage)
 6TB RAID5 (4x2TB, more storage)

The important (ie non-recreatable) stuff on the RAID5 arrays is
periodically archived onto optical (Blu-ray) media. until I'm able to
completely fill up an optical disk, everything pending is backed up
(along with OS stuff) to an eSATA disk using rdiff-backup, preserving 30
days of history.

Overall things are about 55% utilized; when I hit 66% I'll replace the
4x1.5TB array with 4x3TB disks, and retire a bunch of 1TB drives in the
process. That'll probably happen in the spring, or if something fails
first. :)
