I have AT&T Uverse.. it says NVG589 (Aris??) .

but I used these instructions:

disabled IPv6, restarted chrome, and facebook, and.. SNAP! facebook
responds instantly, all videos play...

the modem/router shows IPv6 stats, no errors. for now, I will keep IPv6
turned off.. easy enough to re-enable..
