I’m all for IBM presenting at ALE. There’s a fair amount of hits on IBM sites for things Linux and it seemed they were encouraging its use for years even though they had AIX as their UNIX variant.

IBM is willing to give an ALE talk or three at our regular meetings. They can talk about their, IBM, use of Linux in their, IBM, business.

Maybe I'm exceptional thick today, but IBM is speaking for us? And to whom does the "their" refer? ALE or IBM?

NOTE: IBM is interested is speaking *for ALE about the use of Linux in all of their business* and how they leverage their Linux expertise to support their customer base. Not as tech-heavy but a good use-case talk with maybe some networking.
