I got a new computer recently, and it is uefi.. It came with windows 8.1
and I promptly upgraded to windows 10. I then shrunk the partition, and
added fedora 22. Then I added my 2nd drive & installed ubuntu server. I
want an existing linux boot OS on each drive, just in case:)

This is my first install with UEFI and BOY has it been a learning
experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no more grub2-install. Now we have new packages, and no new
documentation or how-to.. Now we have ESP partitions, and /boot/efi
partitions, that interface with grub.. I now have 2 ESP partitions, and
2 separate ( and not always equal) grub.cfg files. 1 under fedora and
the other under ubuntu.. oh, did I also mention the shim package?? where
did this come from & why do I need it:)

this has been a real ( and not so much fun) learning experience, all
because I wanted a new computer... welcome to UEFI.
