[ale] hodoku stopped working

ok, so everything I've installed seems to work in fedora 21 EXCEPT my
favorite sudoku game called hodoku.. It is run via java jar.. and now
when I run it, nothing happens.. here is the output, anyone??
called from a shell script:
java -Xmx512m -jar /home/pbc/Downloads/hodoku.jar
