Look closely at the Buffalo model you select. They don't all have DD-WRT. I
got burned with one of the lower-end models that came with crappy Buffalo
firmware and was not upgradable by multiple flash methods. Other than that
experience, I've put at least a dozen of these in place and they're great.

​For example,
the WHR-300HP2D
​ runs DDWRT​
,
​but
the WHR-300HP2
​ looks the same, does not run DD-WRT and cannot be upgraded.​ That's the
sort of subtle difference you need to be aware of.
