I'm trying to set up my SLED11 SP2 linux workstation to use a remote eDirectory (LDAP) directory for authentication.
So far I have gotten as far as successfully logging in at the command line, and I can ssh into it using the LDAP credentials, but when I try to login with any GUI, I get the message listed above.
The ~.xsession-errors files has nothing in it since the home folder was created at initial login, and local users that login successfully have the same entries.
I suspect it has something to do with my pam sessions config, but nothing stands out for me.
