Exactly.  But some people aren't looking to make a file server as much 
as they are a single mountable filesystem that spans across more than 
one machine, much as what goes on with these Backblaze things.  Then you 
tend to want to have these filesystems being hit by more than one 
machine, which calls for clustering filesystems.
