[ale] VM guest partitioning practices

I my centos boxes, like this

/boot 1G -- /dev/sba1

The rest on lvm all are ext4, will change once I played with C7

/   5G
/opt  10G
/var  5G
/usr   5G
/home 10G
swap 16G
/usr/local 5 Gigs

Have you tried SUSE Studio? Need to create a Live CD,  an app you want to
package and distribute , or create your own linux distro. Give SUSE Studio
a try.
