[ale] Linux wifi hotspot issues

Sorry if this is a repeat - I did not see my original leave my account, so
I'm reposting
with a modified query


​I'm trying to set up my linux laptop (Fedora 20) to be a wifi hotspot, so
that we can all connect via one connection.  I'm able to get all but one
device to connect, but can't figure out how to troubleshoot the last problem

Tech details - hostapd controlling the wifi dongle, NetworkManager told to
leave the dongle alone, and dnsmasq to cover DHCP, etc.

The problem - my el-cheapo tablet (Azpen) will not connect, and nothing
logs errors.

Any ideas as to how to find where the process is failing?
