[ale] OT: Comcast Wi-Fi

good luck renting a DOCSIS 3.0 modem only from Comcast. afaik they only
offer all-in-one router/modem gateway for rental for DOCSIS 3.0. you can
almost always have them enable true bridge mode though which disables all
router functionality though.
