[ale] RHEL 6 manual config?

It has been a while since I ran through a RHEL install, but I think there is a text mode installer that you can select somewhere in the boot up process.

Looks like Red Hat thinks it knows more of what I want than I do. The
RHEL 6 image won't let me configure disk layout or choose packages if
it can't find a video card.

Anyone know how to bypass this Microsoft-ism?
