[ale] Best sub-$300 Light Linux Laptop?

I'd never buy a laptop used. Too much risk of mistreatment. Things that can be
dropped generally are.
OTOH, my professional experience was with hardened laptops used by almost 20K
people. It is just scary what can go wrong with computing devices, especially
mobile versions.
