[ale] Fedora 17 and X11

Most of the time now there are segments of the xorg.conf file under shared
-- /usr/shared/X11/xorg.conf.d/

It is useful in that you don't need the entire conf file in there, just a
subsection, like Device, to configure options on your hardware without
having to worry about the rest.

I have also found that generally you can create an xorg.conf.d directory
under /etc/X11 and it will treat it the same way.
