This set of instructions is relatively useless.  It shouldn't take more
than five or six steps to accomplish a task in the average case, and
holy crap---35!  No, 35 + 9 = 46!  Wow.

Your procedure is extremely tied to your situation.  if you want to
share your knowledge, the exact process is less useful than the
information that you learned from following it.  Looks like the lesson
is to use LVM.  :-)
