I'd bet it'd look something like this:

Leaving:
	OT Discussions
	Other Sources
	Inflammatory (we're in one now, but we haven't had a bad one in a while)
	Decline in mail use (these folks are already used to it)

Not Joining:
	Decline in email use (new folks less likely to join lists)
	Other Sources
	Inflammatory
	OT Discussions


We have to remember that there are folks coming and going at all
times. We aren't replenishing as much as we used to.  I see where Jim
is coming from about canning it, because the general trend is
definitely away from email, and so, the list (and the folks remaining
on it) is likely to become MORE polarized because the folks who remain
will be committed to a fight of their own choosing.

I know I for one have been very close to removing myself because of
the bombardment of the OT.  I've moderated that some by immediately
glazing over certain email addresses in my client, and also generally
glaze over some of the same email addresses in longer threads.

The inflammatory subjects I've stayed out of because when the two
sides are drawn up, I'm usually in the middle or outside of the ring.
 No one needs that crap.
