[ale] GUI for working on a remote Subversion workspace?

It too me a minute to realize they are writing code remotely via GUI text 
editors as well.. aren't they?

My opinion is NOT popular, but if they can't write code using a shell, 
using shell based svn/git/etc.. tools and either a GUI or text only editor
with shell access... they probably should not be writing code.

Giving props to Adam Jimerson who championed it, I'll admit if used 
sanely, GIT > SVN but SVN is much easier is some ways. Part of what you 
seem to be wanting, an environment with it's own dev world, works better 
in git.
