[ale] OT: check light diagnostic tool

For about $50 at auto zone, for a basic one.

For about $50 from the Internet for a Bluetooth one that uses your phone,
tablet or laptop as a readout. Usually much more featureful as well.

If your car is newer than 2008 or so, ensure the device will communicate
with it. There are several allowed OBD2 interfaces with different specs on
layer 1.
