[ale] Strange errors with RHEL 6.3 install. .

David,
In case it helps, /mnt/sysimage is the mount point for the installee's
filesystem. /var/lib/rpm is where the rpm metadata is stored. It sounds
more like your local filesystem is having trouble. Have you checked the
logs/logging consoles for errors?
