[ale] VPS hosting recommendations?

They seem a bit pricey, though.  I'm looking for bargain basement. I've been doing $5.00 per month per VM, and it looks like they are at $20 for the lowest tier. Is that correct, or is there a lower tier once you get logged into their control panel?
