[ale] HTML INCLUDE Feature Stopped Working

This is probably a dumb question, but did you verify that SSI is actually enabled?

I think that is in
   /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/include.load

Could there be a .htaccess file overriding the main file settings?

Never used SELinux.
