[ale] [OT?] email signature etiquette

I'm a bit old fashioned and default to the four lines suggested by RFC 1855,

... but I follow Postel's Law here, being liberal in what I receive.  Folks
these days have all kinds of crazy sigs.  :)

Wikipedia helped me find that RFC again, and it has some more interesting
info on sigs.
