[ale] So what do we do when the PC goes away?

I don't know. If there was a real Linux distro I could run on my original
Transformer I'd probably quit using my Thinkpad with Fedora. The keyboard
dock is great for short typing sessions on the couch. It also has USB ports
and video out so I can have a real keyboard, mouse, monitor set up when
needed. It wouldn't be able to run long software compiles or other
intensive things like that. But there's always Amazon Web Services or
similar out there.

The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths
imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth.
He is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and
intolerably lonely. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men.
It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like
knowledge, courage and honor.
It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty —

and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies.
