[ale] semiOT: TV to wireless box.

I would suggest using a SiliconDust HD Homerun

http://www.silicondust.com/products/hdhomerun/atsc/

It contains two tuners and streams the content over the net. This is what I use as a source for my MythTV recorder.

Put the HD Homerun out by the antenna and keep your DVR in the house.

I would suggest connecting to the HD Homerun using fiber and two Ethernet to fiber converters so that any lightning strikes stay out of your network.
