Why not just an antenna in the tree with perhaps a solar powered signal
booster. That seems simpler and more reliable to me. But really, Keith
Watson at GA Tech who is on the MUCH list is probably your go to guy for
this project. Good luck, I live in a bit of a hole myself and would love to
hear what you wind up with and how well it works.
