I have three tmobile android phones I use custom roms for.
Samsung Galaxy Vibrant -
I use the Passion ICS rom for this one. Very fast, very stable, overclocked, undervolted, good battery life and huge configurability. No wifi calling, though.

I just got an HTC One S. very new phone, but there are already a ton of roms for it.
I'm currently using the Zydroid ROM, which is based on the tmo US rom, so wifi calling works. I miss some of the functionality I had with the Passion rom, but it has been good for me so far. I'm looking forward to a new build based on tmobile's update to fix the noisy wifi calling bug.

My daughter has the LG Optimus, and I believe I put a cyanogen7 build on it, but I'll have to check it out. Sped it up a bit, and cleaned up the bloatware.

Hey folks, any recommendations (for/against) a smartphone (&
ROM, possibly for later) for T-Mobile (GSM)?
I couldn't attend the "alternate ROM" presentation sometime back. :(
T-Mobile itself has Samsung, HTC & LG.
Looks like Cyanogenmod might be "good" (for whatever
definition there is of "good," hah) but what else is there to
be sought/avoided?
Any notes from Charles' presentation?
Many thanks, -kc
