[ale] Low voltage work in GA

can't pull  wires horizontally through metal studs with sheet rock
installed :-)  well.... not and have them conduct any signals when
ends are on :-)

I don't have ready access to a current NEC manual so I'm working for
feeble memory (foam).

There ARE places where metal conduit is R E Q U I R E D. going through
a fire-rated wall is one of them.
