[ale] possibility of running an NTP server

Hi Leam,

Interesting thought. I'm just embarking on a project to learn Java. Once 
I get to the semi advanced stage, maybe I'll play around with the 
timekeeping functions to see what can be done. It would be interesting 
to see how the Java VM reacts differently, if at all, on Windows vs Linux.

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, you might want to
